Jordan Blann of Bowling Green has been named the Kentucky Golf Association 2009 Player of the Year. Blann’s victory in the 2009 at&t Kentucky State Amateur Championship vaulted him past his own teammate on the University of Kentucky Men’s Golf Team, Ben Fuqua of Danville.
Blann also had top finishes in the 2009 Powerbilt Kentucky Open with a tie for 4th among all amateurs and was a US Open local qualifier this year.
Blann will be recognized by the KGA on November 19th at the 2009 Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Lexington Country Club.
