Kentucky's family of golf organizations congratulates Leah Wigger of Louisville and Mallory Blackwelder of Lexington, both of whom earned LPGA Tour cards at the 2009 LPGA qualifying tournament, which wrapped up on December 7. Ms. Wigger tied for ninth in the tournament, and qualified for Category 11 membership. Ms. Blackwelder tied for 38th and earned Category 20 membership.

Both women are veterans of the Pepsi Junior Golf Tour. They will join fellow Kentuckian and Pepsi Junior Golf Tour veteran Whitney Wade on the 2010 LPGA Tour.
